Goat Distribution & Herd Expansion Program
Capra’s goat program empowers families by distributing goats and expanding herds through a give-back cycle that lifts communities from poverty.
Capra Solidarity Ministry is a Christian nonprofit organization operating in East Africa, dedicated to restoring dignity and self-reliance among the most vulnerable families. At the heart of our mission is a simple, sustainable model: we provide a goat to each selected family, and when that goat gives birth, the first kid is returned to the ministry to bless another household. This cycle of giving allows one act of kindness to multiply across communities, creating a ripple effect of empowerment, hope, and transformation.
Rooted in biblical values and inspired by Luke 4:18-19, we partner with local pastors and authorities in Rwanda and Burundi to identify those in greatest need. Our work goes beyond livestock—it’s about building trust, strengthening families, and fostering spiritual and economic growth through faith-based outreach. Together, we believe in the power of solidarity to change lives, one goat—and one family—at a time.

Capra trains local pastors to guide families, share the Gospel, and oversee goat programs—ensuring ethical aid and spiritual growth in rural areas.
Capra builds strong donor relationships and partners with churches and groups globally to fund goats and grow a movement of solidarity in Africa.
Visiting the families and seeing their smiles gave me more than I gave them. This is a ministry that transforms communities from the inside out.
I gave one goat. Today, I’ve helped five families because of the return-and-give-back model. I’m proud to support something so sustainable and biblical
Capra Solidarity Ministry is more than charity—it's discipleship in action. I’ve seen how one goat can restore both hope and faith in a whole household
The day I received my goat was the day everything changed. Now I sell milk, and my children go to school with dignity. May God bless this ministry!
